Happy ~Montana~ Summer

It’s officially summertime in Montana! This heavily anticipated season in the Bozeman area is one full of activities, festivities, and… heat (something we forget exists after our long winters). There are plenty of ways to get out and enjoy this season. Even though this is a busy time of year in real estate, I make sure to get to my go-to activities – hiking with my dog, Ruby, and hopping on any proximate river with my husband, Kevin.

In addition, I love several annually anticipated summer festivities. Some include:

-Downtown Art Walks: Bozeman and Livingston – Hop from gallery to gallery, shop to shop to check out Bozeman and Livingston’s thriving art culture. This year Bozeman’s is held every 2nd Friday from July through August on Main Street downtown. Livingston’s is held on the 4th Friday of every month from July through September in downtown Livingston.

-Music On Main & in the Mountains – Enjoy live music in the streets of downtown Bozeman and in the beautiful scenery of Big Sky! This year Bozeman’s Music on Main is every Thursday from July 22nd through August 12th from 6:30-8:30 on Main Street, Bozeman. If you’re up in Big Sky, Music in the Mountains is every Thursday from June through September starting at 6 PM at Center Stage in Big Sky.

-Sweet Pea Music Festival – Hang out in one of Bozeman’s most beautiful downtown parks while listening to live music and touring some great arts and crafts. Held this year August 6-8th at Lindley Park in Bozeman. Make sure to get your festival wristbands beforehand either at many retailers downtown or on Sweet Pea’s website (Sweet Pea Site), this is a very popular regional event!

This is just the tip of the iceberg for the exciting art/music/gastronomic events in this bustling area. Let me know if you want any further suggestions on how to fill your long Montana summer days and evenings with what our community and the surrounding area have to offer.

Happy Summering,
